Whether it’s the permanent exhibition “Fotofaszination” or the ever-changing thematic exhibitions, the Deutsches Fotomuseum is well worth a visit.
The history of photography and the development of camera technology from the beginnings to the smartphone are presented in 14 sections. Interesting for adults and children alike!
Blooming diversity, exhibitions and concerts. At agra Park you will find recreation, entertainment and culture.
The agra Park is part of the Leipzig floodplain landscape in the landscape conservation area and part of the green link between the southern city centre of Leipzig and the southern area. The current condition of the park is being gradually improved, which will help it regain its attractiveness as an excursion destination.
The cosy park has a size of about 10 hectares, surrounded by historic gateways. These were extensively renovated in the 2000s and now shine again in their old splendour.
In the middle of the park, on the site of the former orangery, is the Bärenherz children’s hospice.
Guided tours, excursions, lessons in the countryside, hiking days, project days, all-day activities, exhibitions, guided horse-drawn carriage rides, festive days, children’s birthday parties and lectures.
There is something for everyone!
A very special venue. With an eaves height of 15 metres, the VINETA is currently considered the highest floating structure on a German lake.
From vaudeville to weddings, it is an ideal venue for events – but also for visiting and lingering in the bistro.
You can get an overview of the other lakes in the area on the official site of the city of Leipzig:
